Mikro keeps your stock, account and order records. From these records VidiStock forecasts demand for every product and warehouse and calculates the safety stock, reorder point and order suggestion.
Which data is read from Mikro?
Data is read from views or procedures installed in a vidistock schema in the Mikro database; the connector has no permission on the Mikro tables. The sample scripts read the tables below and are adapted during setup to how the company uses Mikro.
| Data | Mikro table in the sample script |
|---|---|
| Stock cards, preferred supplier | STOKLAR, CARI_HESAPLAR |
| Sales and return transactions (day, warehouse, account) | STOK_HAREKETLERI |
| Orders placed and goods receipts (with warehouse and currency) | SIPARISLER, STOK_HAREKETLERI |
| Inter-warehouse transfers (beta) | STOK_HAREKETLERI |
| Warehouse balances | Sum of STOK_HAREKETLERI |
| Warehouses | DEPOLAR |
Product attributes are extra columns of the products object; the sample script includes sto_marka_kodu from the STOKLAR table.
Setup
- In VidiStock, on Administration → Integrations, choose Mikro and generate a connector key.
- Install the VidiStock Connector on a Windows computer that can reach the Mikro database.
- Download the sample scripts from the Integrations page and run them in the Mikro database: they create the
vidistockschema, a SQL user with permission only on that schema, and the reading objects. Adapt the branch filter and campaign mark in the objects if needed. - Enter the SQL Server address, the database name and this user; choose a view or a procedure for each data type, then test the connection.
- Set the history start and the warehouse mapping.
- Choose the schedule and enable it; on large databases choose a night-time hour.
What is calculated from Mikro data?
- Demand forecast per product and warehouse; separate methods for steady, erratic and rarely selling products.
- Safety stock, reorder point and an order suggestion rounded to the minimum order quantity and case size.
- Overstock and dead stock: capital tied up in products far above need or not selling at all.
- Supplier scorecard: on-time delivery, lead time, rejection rate (if delivery records are loaded).
Good to know
- The connection is in beta; after the first synchronisation, compare the sales and warehouse balance of a few products with your Mikro report.
- Stock card prices are read in local currency in this version; set the currency of foreign-currency products in VidiStock.
- VidiStock does not transfer orders to Mikro.
Detailed setup: ERP integration.
