Product detail
Section titled “Product detail”Opens when you click a stock code:
- Sales history, forecast and confidence interval chart
- Method, forecast error, safety stock, reorder point and suggested order
- Stock and plan per warehouse
- Supplier comparison
- Customer breakdown
- Forecast table by period and method comparison
Use the warehouse selector at the top right to look at one warehouse or all of them.
Currency
Section titled “Currency”A product’s purchase and sales currencies are selected separately; for example a product bought in dollars and sold in lira. If none is selected, the company’s base currency is used.
- Unit cost is entered in the purchase currency, the selling price in the sales currency.
- Stock value, order amount, ABC class and gross profit are calculated after converting to the base currency at the current rate.
- If another supplier is made “preferred” for the product, the purchase currency also switches to that supplier’s currency.
- If the currency has no rate, the product’s amounts cannot be calculated; a warning is shown on the screens.
For the effect of rates on profit, see FX risk.
Product attributes
Section titled “Product attributes”Every industry has its own product information: brand and compatible vehicle make for spare parts, size and colour for textiles, origin for food. You define these as attributes; each company decides its own.
- Attributes are defined on the Settings page.
- A single-value attribute takes one value per product (e.g. brand: Bosch).
- In a multi-value attribute, values are separated by commas and each one is a separate tag (e.g. compatible vehicle make: Renault, Dacia). The product appears in the list when filtered by any of its tags.
- Values come from ERP synchronisation, the product import file or manual entry in the Attributes (Özellikler) section of the product page.
Attributes appear as columns in the Products list. With the Attribute (Özellik) filter at the top of the pages, Products, Order Suggestions and the analysis pages are narrowed to a single value (e.g. only Bosch); the selection is kept across pages. The grouping table on the Stock Finance and Inventory Turnover pages can be grouped by an attribute instead of by category.
Attributes are not used in forecasting or order calculation; they are for description, filtering and grouping only.
