Warehouses and branches
Warehouses are managed in the warehouses section of the Settings page.
Warehouse fields
Section titled “Warehouse fields”| Field | Description |

| Code, name, location | The code is unique; imports find the warehouse by this code or by name. |
| Type | Main or branch. |
| Service level | If empty, the company default is used. |
| Default | The warehouse that import rows without a warehouse are written to. There is exactly one per company. |
| Active | An inactive warehouse is left out of plans and suggestions. |
A warehouse with history cannot be deleted; make it inactive instead.
Planning per warehouse
Section titled “Planning per warehouse”- A separate forecast and plan is produced for every product-warehouse pair.
- In addition, a consolidated forecast is made for every product over the total of all warehouses.
- The warehouse selector on most screens is shared across pages: when you focus on a branch, the other screens show that branch too.
Lead time and ordering terms belong to the product; they do not vary by warehouse.
