Supplier scorecard
Section titled “Supplier scorecard”The Ana veri → Tedarikçiler (Master data → Suppliers) page shows each supplier’s performance over the last 12 months:
- On-time delivery rate
- Actual lead time (compared with the promised one)
- Reject rate (quality)
- Fill rate
- Cost change
- Reliability score: a combination of the above (below)
The measures are calculated from delivery records, which come from CSV files or the ERP connector.
How is the reliability score calculated?
Section titled “How is the reliability score calculated?”Score = 100 × (0.60 × on-time delivery rate + 0.25 × (1 − reject rate) + 0.15 × fill rate)
The weights add up to 1: on-time delivery 60%, quality 25%, quantity 15%. If the reject rate is unknown it counts as 0; if the fill rate is unknown it counts as full (1).
Example: a supplier with an on-time rate of 28.3%, a reject rate of 4.1% and a fill rate of 99.5% scores 100 × (0.60 × 0.283 + 0.25 × 0.959 + 0.15 × 0.995) = 17.0 + 24.0 + 14.9 = 55.9. Most deliveries are late, but quality and quantity are good, so the score stays above 50; read the on-time problem from the on-time rate shown next to it, not from the score.
How do delays affect orders?
Section titled “How do delays affect orders?”The reliability score does not change the order suggestion. The suggestion is based on the lead time and lead time variation on the product card:
- If the actual lead time is clearly longer than the one on the card, a Lead time drift alert appears.
- Once the card is updated with Apply actual (below), the reorder point and safety stock rise, so the suggestion comes earlier and larger.
Until the card is updated, delays do not affect orders.
Applying actual lead times
Section titled “Applying actual lead times”A button on the supplier detail page updates the default lead time and its variation on the product card from actual deliveries. At least three deliveries are required.
Pending orders and short deliveries
Section titled “Pending orders and short deliveries”The Purchase Orders page shows order lines placed with suppliers and their goods receipts. Orders come from the purchase orders file or the ERP, receipts from the goods receipts file; a line can have several partial deliveries. The difference between ordered and received is pending.
A line that will not be completed is closed with Close short; the rest is no longer expected, and closing can be undone. If the ERP integration reports that the order was closed in the ERP, a partly received line is closed short automatically (“closed in the ERP”; it is reopened from the ERP), and an order closed without any receipt is not imported. If “Add pending purchase orders to On order” is on in Settings, the pending quantity is added to stock on order in order suggestions: it is not ordered again while the line is open, and the need is recalculated once it is closed.
Multiple suppliers
Section titled “Multiple suppliers”A product can have several suppliers. The comparison table on the product detail page shows price, lead time and performance side by side. Planning uses the cost, lead time and ordering terms of the preferred supplier.
Status and risk
Section titled “Status and risk”A supplier can be made inactive, and a risk level and note can be recorded. If the preferred supplier of a product that needs ordering is inactive or high-risk, an alert is raised.
